We have had our fairly new golden, Remy, for almost a year now. Ever since we got him our family has been so happy and excited. We wake up in the morning and see his smiling, slobbery face right by our bedside, hoping for a walk or some food. Remy also seems very happy with us, too. We have been very routine with him, and have walked him regularly unless it was impossible.Remy is just extremely hyper (not a bad thing). Whenever we pick up his leash, he jumps up as high as high can and tries to grab it. Once I even got in a 7-minute tug-of-war with him, only winning by pulling him up off his hind legs. Once, when the pizza-man came he ran away from the door as fast as he could, jumped up, and slid across our hardwood floor for at least 9 feet until he went onto the carpet. We always get a lot of kicks out of him.Remy DEFINITELY loves peanut butter. We get the jar out, and then when we look back, he's sitting, hoping for a bite.We hope that Remy will stay with us for a very long while. Our time with him has been the best of our lives, and probably vice-versa. Right now he's looking up at the computer screen, watching my compliments.

Rupert
is awesome. He is my best friend, and loves people, other dogs
and kitties. He is coming upstairs as I speak and slobbering on me. I am
so thankful that I found him, after Regis, my golden that I rescued,
died at 13 years. I will write up something and send. Thanks to all of
you who do what you do.
