Chloe

Age: 3

Update: 9/17/10

Sweet and shy, “chunky monkey” Chloe (yes, she’s a sturdy gal) was surrended to a local shelter by an owner who, when asked why she was giving up her dog, simply noted: “no room or time to give.”

At an “overnighter” on the way to her foster home, Chloe stayed with four other dogs and fit in just fine:

No issues at all with intros, and she was playing within 15 minutes.  She seems to have little to no interest in our cats, though she does not like the kitties getting right in her face (my cats are suicidal)!   In the evening, we headed out for a brisk stroll,  but after 3 miles Chloe let us know she was all through walking!  Once she's in better shape she'll be a great walking companion.  She is a moderate puller at first, then relaxes.

She’s a very obedient girl and knows the meaning of NO.  The slightest change in your tone of voice has her surrendering. And she absolutely loves attention! In my pack she will force her way to the front if she thinks there are pets available.  She's food motivated and will be easy to train.
