Beignet

This beautiful young guy is sweet, golden (of course), and irresistible—just like the world-famous New Orleans pastry for which he was named. And he’s even better than the real thing—he’s a calorie-free indulgence. Yes, while spending too much time around the traditional deep-fried beignet  could definitely turn you a bit puffy and doughy yourself, doggie Beignet will have the opposite effect! Nothing like living with a peppy teenage Golden to boost your caloric expenditure.

Hard to believe that anyone could turn a Beignet down, but in fact his owner dropped him off at the shelter—with a lot of regret, but with the comment, “My wife hates him. No real reason, she just doesn’t like him.”

In his foster home, Beignet is settling in just fine. He’s a fun, happy boy who gets along well with adults, children, other dogs—and he is sure to get along with YOU! More news to come soon.
