When is thirteen a lucky number? When it’s your GRR number and your ticket out of the shelter!

It doesn’t often happen that a stray is microchipped—but when Banx was brought in, the shelter’s scanner turned up a chip. We put GRR’s name on him as back-up, but assumed an owner would soon arrive to reclaim the peppy blond boy. Nope—the chip had never been registered, and in any case, nobody came looking.  So Banx  became GRR #10-013.

He is a beautiful blond and a typical teenage Golden live wire. He jumps, he mouths, he grabs, he pulls every which way on leash! But it’s all in the spirit of the purest good will… and he’s also highly affectionate and very eager to please. His foster family will work on settling him down and teaching him some house manners.
