Want to make a million? All you have to do is figure out how to teach Zed to talk… and then get him to reveal his stay-young-forever secrets! That’s right, this 10-year-old charmer has definitely found the Fountain of Youth. If you didn’t know his age, you’d never guess he’s a senior Golden. On his way to his foster home, he overnighted with another GRR family, and: “He got along great with my 2- and 5-year-old Goldens. At times I couldn’t even tell them apart because he was playing and romping with as much
energy as they have. He has a deep play growl and loved rolling & playing tug with the rope.”
His foster mom confirms it: “He plays like a puppy. He’s a very happy dog! Full of energy and loves walks. Definitely needs someone to walk him and give him lots of exercise. He’s a 92-pounder with big, big feet, and if he’s overweight at all, it’s only by a few pounds.” The great thing is that Zed (also known as “Ben,” because he’s such a gentle fellow) has puppy energy without certain other, rather bothersome puppy traits, such as having accidents, chewing on rugs, and tearing up everything in sight! He’s trustworthy loose in the house, hops in excitement but settles immediately with a gentle “No,” and enjoys grooming without any twirling around to snap at the brush, etc. He loves to watch “dog TV” – that is, look out the window and track the birds and the squirrels.

Zed is outgoing, a sweetheart, a “leaner” who cuddles up against you to get more lovin’. He needs a family who will play tug with him, throw balls for him in the yard, take him on walks or runs. Being in a household with another playful dog would be the icing on the cake. He gets along with everyone . He’s full of life and love! And no, adopting him probably won’t make you a millionaire… but you’ll definitely feel like you’ve hit the jackpot!
